WIDE OPEN SESSIONS
A new monthly event at Le Baixu, “Wide Open Sessions” is a celebration of musical diversity. In each session, we present a project that takes an innovative approach to traditional instruments or repertoires.
Whether acoustic, traditional, cross-genre or totally unclassifiable, each session will feature excellent musicians from all over Belgium.

AUSTER LOO COLLECTIVE (quintet)
Auster Loo Collective is a group of musicians from Belgium, Japan, Iran, Mexico and Senegal who have collaborated with musicians such as Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur), Zap Mama, Deep Forest and Ibrahim Maalouf.
They break out of all stylistic patterns and boundaries to enable each musician to put his or her instrument and history at the service of innovative and authentic music. The result is an original sound where dreamy melodies alternate with rhythmic compositions of sustained energy for a dazzling result !
